It wasn\u2019t the feature that attracted him to the building. It was the two extra bedrooms &#8211;\u00a0that would allow his grown kids to visit on holidays and between college semesters &#8211;\u00a0that he liked most. Six months went by before he even tried it out, but when he did\u2026.it was gooood! In fact it felt wonderful\u2026so relaxing, it took all his cares away.<\/p>\n<p>He came back to it again and again and started making time, once a week, to soak in its warm embracing waters, gently massaging jets and steamy, soothing solace. Soon he found himself hopping in every day \u2013 even twice a day. A quick soak before the morning commute or a nice long one after the stress of a long day\u2019s work became an absolute\u00a0necessity. He felt an affinity for\u00a0it bordering on affection. He lost himself in the comfort and imagined himself in the warm embrace of the womb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cMmmmmmm!\u201d<\/strong> he said\u2026..wait\u2026did he just say that? Strange, his voice seemed unusually low today, must be the bathroom acoustics \u2026yeah! He relaxed again and submitted, to the moist tongues of ecstasy lapping his exhausted body\u2026.. <strong>\u201cOOOOOOH, SCRUMMMPTIOUS!\u201d<\/strong> he said in a deep, slow baritone.<\/p>\n<p>Mike\u2019s eyes bugged out as he leapt from the tub, twisting and convulsing like a housewife covered in spiders.\u00a0Aghast, he screamed, \u201cWhat the\u2026I didn\u2019t say that!?!\u201d <strong>\u201cOOOOH\u2026.DON\u2019T GO MY LITTLE LOLLIPOP\u2026..COME BAAACK.\u201d<\/strong> said the booming voice from the tub. \u201cHuh?\u201d was all he could manage, shaking and dripping on the tiles, <strong>\u201cAAAAAAAW,\u201d<\/strong> boomed\u00a0his tub, <strong>\u201cMY SAUSSSSAGE DUMMMPLING, MY SPICY LITTLE MEATBALLL\u2026..COME BACK TO MEEEEEE\u2026I COULD JUST EEEEEAT YOU UP!!!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>***The image above is \u201cAGHAST\u201d recently published in our newest book &#8220;Bludgeon the Clown.&#8221;\u00a0 Before that, it was loaned out as the cover to a book of flash-fiction entitled &#8220;Aghast&#8221; by Joe Del Priore (a VERY funny book and well worth reading).\u00a0 But\u00a0it was originally commissioned by Analog Magazine for their Jan\/Feb 2007 issue.\u00a0 This post was our 3rd post ever, from Oct., 2015.\u00a0 Follow the\u00a0www.sallemander.com links above to find all of my books.\u00a0<\/em><em>\u00a0 -Marsha<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 When Mike rented his new place he\u2019d never even tried a hot tub before.
